If you aren’t already aware, Boys Noize is back in Los Angeles for another HARD event this Friday and he’s bringing a couple of his self titled label mates with him, Shadowdancer and D.I.M. If you aren’t familiar with either of these DJs, but derive any inkling of pleasure from Boys Noize, you should hurry and give them a listen.
As you can see from the informative poster above, Shadowdancer will be performing an album release tour over the next several weeks that will take them around the USA, including stops at South by Southwest in Austin, TX and the Winter Music Conference in Miami, FL. All of the stops are either BNR (Boys Noize Records) nights or events like this Friday the 13th @ the Shrine Auditorium for HARD 13!!!
If you aren’t familiar with D.I.M. you might want to think again. He was credited along side Boys Noize for that incredible remix of The Faint – The Geeks Were Right. I’m pretty sure that song goes down as one of my all time favorites. Very excited to see D.I.M. this weekend!
At the last HARD event, the HARD Haunted Mansion, we got a chance to talk to Boys Noize backstage about his work with Shadowdancer, performing live, and his recent global popularity.
Another super awesome part of this show is that while it is clearly dominated by Boys Noize Records, it is still featuring some other incredible and diverse electronic talent. Diplo will be there, so will Erol Alkan, and we can’t forget L.A. Riots or Destructo!
