Helping Lorn with his brainchild, YouTellConcerts.com, has been one of the best times I have ever had. I have been to over 40 concerts and festivals this year, and I am probably going to attend at least 70 before 2009. All of these shows have been all kinds of amazing, but here are the Top 10 Moments from my first 6 months of YTC.

#1. (July 19th, 2008) Backstage at the Ghostland Observatory show in New Braunfels, TX. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=103

#2. (May 1st, 2008) Being totally unaware of what was happening and meeting Dana Petty who was kind enough to walk Lorn and I through the back of the Troubadour to see a sold out Mudcrutch show! http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=55#more-55

#3. (April 25-27th, 2008) Happy Coachella!! This year was my first time to attend The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and I must say it was probably the most fun 3 days I’ve ever had. I’m totally sold on this festival and look forward to attending it in the future. http://www.HappyCoachella.com

And we still have so much video to sort through from these 3 days.

#4. (April 15th, 2008) Seeing The Nightwatchman AKA Tom Morello at the Troubadour with a legion of guest star appearances including: Flea, Travis Barker, Perry Farrel, Slash, Dave Navarro, Steve Vai and more. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=67

#5. (May 16th, 2008) Meeting Aaron Behrens from Ghostland Observatory moments before he took the stage at The Joshua Tree Music Festival. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=136

I also got this really awesome video of Midnight Voyage during the performance.

#6. (July 12th, 2008) Being told by a VH1 Producer that I looked “like I know how to rock” and being given free front row tickets to the VH1 Rock Honors The Who taping which also had performances from Foo Fighters, Incubus, The Flaming Lips, Pearl Jam, Tenacious D, and Adam Sandler. Also got to meet Brandon Boyd from Incubus! He was sitting right behind me when he wasn’t on stage rocking out! http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=90

#7. (June 25th, 2008) Finally getting in for the last 45min of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers at The Hollywood Bowl right as they start to jam with Refugee! I got to enter through the VIP Artist Entrance which was also cool. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=17

#8. (May 21st, 2008) I was quick with the keyboard and was one of the first 200 people to respond to a MySpace bulletin that had free tickets to the Yahoo! Nissan Live Set’s taping of a special performance by Moby! This was a really cool experience even though there were a couple of weird pauses and a long wait to get in. Moby is just so great to see live! http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=44

#9. (August 6th, 2008) When the The Ting Tings came to play in Hollywood it was everything I could have hoped for. The Ting Tings are fantastic and they truly rocked it at The El Rey that night. I just missed them after the show and didn’t get to meet them, but I did have email communication with Jules, so I’m hoping to see them in the future. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=113

#10. (March 21st, 2008) My first time really working with YTC and being involved in the production of an episode was at The Presidents of the United States of America show with the opening act Ludo. This was an extremely fun show to begin with, plus Weird Al Yankovic came out, and like I said… it was my first real YTC experience. http://youtellconcerts.com/wp/?p=83
