What a ROCKING SHOW!! I had never been to the Echo before but had all ways noticed they manged to book fantastic acts. This show was no exception and I am glad I saw it on the Echo Stage. I was off to the far right side of the stage dancing and rocking out the entire show. This caused me to miss most of the stage theatrics. The one thing I would have to say about this show looking back on it is that I wish I had the energy to have rocked out twice as much. Does It Offend You, Yeah has just such a fantastic energy that they magically cured me of my lemon aid poisoning and got me off my ass rocking. -Lorn
WOW. That is really the only word to describe the experience of seeing Does it Offend You, Yeah? at the Echo this Saturday. I had heard some of their stuff and they definitely have a little buzz going, but I was completely blown away at how much these guys rock. Their electro-dance-punk style really comes out in the live performance. The energy that Does It Offend You,Yeah? puts out and the sociable presence of the band flows through the crowd.
I would recommend Does It Offend You, Yeah? to anyone who likes electro, punk, or dance music. If you just like to move your body, welcome aboard. Does it Offend You, Yeah? could be right up your ally. Check out their Myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/doesitoffendyou) for their upcoming schedule. I know I’ll be making a point to see Does It Offend You, Yeah?, at Street Scene in September.
Also, The Black Ghosts opened on Saturday and really did an excellent job. They had a really clean set and knew how to work the crowd. I always find it interesting when DJs bring in their own vocals and these guys really pulled that off. The entire night was completely rad from beginning to end. -bryan
