Chrystal checks out Green River Ordinance and Steve Moakler at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville, and gets fan reviews after the show.
What can I say? I’m a woman, so I’m going to review Green River Ordinance the only way I know how. The homies are hot stuff.
Sure, they have a familiar sound, but that sound is very successful. I have not, however, seen such beautiful beings make said “familiar sound.” GRO is the Jonas Brothers for adults. It’s about the whole package with these guys – catchy/universal songs, great looks, strong stage performance, and wholesome personalities.
As much as I love a band that is completely unique, I appreciate a group that can please the masses as well. Sometimes, I want to belt out a tune in the shower, or I need something to relax me at work. Normally, I would throw in some Backstreet Boys, but now that I know GRO has the same infectious song builds – I have another option.
America is going to LOVE this band. They are going to be touring with Gavin Degraw and David Cook, both of which have very dedicated fans – fans that I’m sure will share their love with GRO.
Check out my interview with Green River Ordinance, and quite possibly my most awkward moment of 2009, when GRO informs me that I missed the American Idol finale. It’s official…I’m completely out of touch with pop culture. Someone get me an US Weekly…PRONTO!
