Day Two got off to a late start simply due to the fact I didn’t want to be in the hot sun all day. Unfortunately, this caused me to miss a few artists that I really wanted to see (Mike Watt and the Missingmen, Street Sweeper Social Club, and The Walkmen).

I did however get to catch tons of incredible acts and a few not so great ones that included:

Aziz Ansari (He was funny for the most part but we were sitting at the edge of the comedy tent and couldn’t hear everything he was saying)

The Murder City Devils (One of the festivals home town hero’s, that featured lots of drunken yelling, screaming, and crazy rants from Spencer Moody. Which is no doubt the appeal for a lot of rock fans, but wasn’t my cup of tea for the day)

Airborne Toxic Event ( I personally have disliked all the songs I have heard from this band. They did however win me over with this performance and they have a heap load of talent)

The Airborne Toxic Event – Some Time Around Midnight

The Submarines ( I was walking over to see TV on the Radio and stopped by an incredible sound which was the Submarines. I only caught their last song but was totally blown away and look forward to seeing them play a full set)

TV On The Radio ( The verdict still isn’t in on these guys I only caught a few songs and they did manage to get me jumping around for them but I quickly lost interest)

TV On The Radio – Young Liars

Nine Inch Nails ( WOW,how does Trent Reznor do it? He always rocks out and gets the crowd overly enthralled. Just watching him on stage is amazing he truly gives 110% and it shows. He closed the set with Hurt and am not ashamed to say that with the Gorge as a background and lighters in the air I had no choice but to shed a tear. We will all miss you Trent and please come back soon !!)

Nine Inch Nails – Hurt

Jane’s Addiction ( The first song was a little shaky simply due to the fact you couldn’t understand what Perry Ferrell was singing. He took a short break, fixed the problem and proceeded to rock Sasquatch. I spent their set lying on the hill staring at the stars and couldn’t ask for any more from them)

Jane’s Addiction – Stop In

Deadmau5 ( I have seen Deadmau5 a few times and wasn’t feeling his set so I spent some time wandering around and chatting with folks)
