I have been listening to Little Joy for awhile now and really dug their sound. This show seemed to magically pop up and am glad I was finally able to catch them.
This tour consist of two-thirds of the trio, Rodrigo Amarante (vocals and guitar) and Binki Shapiro (vocals, keys), will set out to spread the love of Little Joy when they embark on a US tour, while co-founding member Fabrizio Moretti will for the most part be occupied with recording obligations to the Strokes, and therefore unable to tour with the band for the large majority of the dates.

Rodrigo and Binki hit a home run at this show. Rodrigo has an amazing and almost care free voice that really just takes you away. I was very impressed by their set and was treated to a really relaxing evening of music.
Lucky for us Fabrizo made a special guest appearance at the end of the show and was rocking out the maraca. Devendra Banhart also made a special appearance and partied with the band on stage.
A lot of people described Little Joy as of having a 50s pop type sound.
