Not gonna lie – I had been looking forward to this concert all summer. I was so excited the night before, that I decided to go out and sing some Poison at a local karaoke bar. Swear to God, I was on stage, and halfway through my version of “Talk Dirty To Me,” I finally realized where I recognized the karaoke host from. It was Aubry from Rock of Love! What are the chances?
Anyways, the concert was a blast! Everyone was dressed in 80s rock gear (or a modern form of it) and there were good vibes all around. Poison played everything I wanted to hear. Some people thought the set was too short, but really, I feel like in today’s world, a Poison concert is a novelty. I just want to dress up, get drunk, see the hits, and go out and party with friends after. Maybe I could’ve have handled a couple more songs, but not many. I thought the show was the perfect length.
Highlights for me were “Fallen Angel,” making my way to the front row, and getting asked if I wanted to audition for Rock of Love 3. The only complaint I have is that I didn’t get into the venue in time to see Sebastian Bach. I would’ve loved me a little 18 and Life. -*Chrystal
