Video Concert Review Website Where the Fans Give the Review
LOS ANGELES, February 25, 2010 – YouTellConcerts.com, the video concert review site that focuses on gathering fan opinions after concerts, is celebrating their second anniversary with a layout makeover and over 300 mini-concert documentaries in their archive. This diverse collection of review videos, artist interviews, and festival/conference coverage include: The Who, Justice, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, Grizzly Bear, Jennifer Hudson, Lady Gaga, Green Day, AC/DC, festivals such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Bonnaroo, Miami’s Winter Music Conference, the Sasquatch Music Festival, and much more.
The site was created in Los Angeles by Lorn Conner and Bryan Duckworth as an outlet to let the fans have a say in the review process.
“Music critics can be brutal,” says Conner. “We respect their insight, but think the people who bought the tickets should be heard as well. We also see the site as a terrific way to preserve the concert goer’s experience, and get ticket holders hyped for a show they are going to see in the future.”
In the past two years, YTC has expanded by putting on local concert events and bringing on contributors in other markets.
“We currently have correspondents in Los Angeles, Tucson, and Nashville, and are in the process of adding other cities to that list,” says Duckworth, “This year, we’ll continue with our ‘Something Cool’ concert series and will start including local music features highlighting bands in our respective communities. We will also be working with sponsors and record labels in putting together contests for our visitors.”
YouTellConcerts.com uses portable video technology to gather reviews from concert goers moments after they attend a live event. This gives concert reviews the maximum enthusiasm, energy, and authenticity they deserve. Segments cover a variety of musical genres, with artists ranging from Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen to Coldplay and Fergie. Fans and music lovers are encouraged to visit the site and comment back with their opinions and experiences.
