The 2012 SONAR Tour will feature some of EDM’s most innovative artist including Die Antwoord Azari & III, Seth Troxler, Paul Kalkbrenner and Nic Fanciulli. Earlier this year I was incredibly skeptical when it came to Die Antwoord. I had seen them bust a few songs out at Coachella 2010 and was far from blown away. Regardless I decided to give them another go and see them in a club setting. The South African group comprised of Ninja and Yolandi Visser hit the stage at Club Nokia back in February and blew me away. Their energy and stage presence was over the top and the entire venue was going wild. Minutes into the set they destroyed all of my doubts about them as musicians and put on a performance that was one of the best I had seen in ages. The show stands as one of my favorite shows of the year and I strongly urge anyone interested in getting down and dancing to check out their set at The 2012 SONAR Tour as you will not be disappointed.
